Dave Younggren, CCHAP Board of Directors Chair
Former CFO of Gary-Williams Energy and former President of the Piton Foundation and Gary Community Investment Company. Dave brings expertise in business administration and finance, and has been involved in early childhood education and health for decades. Representative to the Colorado Forum. Dave has been Board Chair for other non-profits that serve the needs of children.

Katherine Price, MD, FAAP
Former pediatrician at Western Colorado Pediatric Associates in Grand Junction, a large pediatric practice in western Colorado dedicated to caring for all children in the community, including children on Medicaid and CHP+. Katie’s interests and experience include finding ways to use Health Information Technology to improve the delivery of healthcare to children, and supporting and spreading the concept of the medical home model.

Ayelet Talmi, PhD
Clinical Director, Project CLIMB (Consultation & Liaison in Mental Health and Behavior), Children’s Hospital Colorado. Director, Section of Integrated Behavioral Health, Division of Child and Adolescent mental Health. Director, Irving Harris Program in Infant Mental Health, University of Colorado Denver. Associate Editor, Infant Mental Health Journal. Expert in early childhood mental health. Ayelet trains mental health professionals to work in primary care medical settings.

Polly Anderson
Vice President of Strategy and Financing for Colorado Community Health Network. Polly provides leadership, support and oversight of member training and technical assistance, finances, board development, strategic plan development and implementation, and government, member and stakeholder relations.

Elizabeth Sweeney, MD
Pediatrician at Children’s Medical Center in Denver, CO. Her clinical passions include behavioral and mental health as well as childhood obesity prevention and management. Former Medical Director for CCHAP.

Edwin Asturias, MD
Professor, Pediatrics – Infectious Diseases. Director of Latin American Projects for the Center for Global Health. His research interests include vaccine safety, new vaccine global introductions and epidemiology, Dengue and Zika infections, and pneumococcal disease and prevention.

Steve Poole, MD
Founder and former Executive Director, CCHAP.  Former head of the Division of Community Pediatrics and former Vice Chair in the Department of Pediatrics at the University Of Colorado School Of Medicine.
